- Water in summer only after soil has dried. To preserve the delicate, feathery spines it is best to bottom water this plant. Water lightly in winter to keep soil from completely drying out. Plumosa will offset after a few years and can fill a 12" pot quite easily.
- Needs full sun or light shade in summer
- Germination of cactus seeds is about timing, temperature and establishing a technique for sowing, Some species have a higher germination rate or lower germination time than others. For that reason I can't guarantee a specific success rate
